CURRENT PROJECTS IN NEPAL
Nepal's population of just over 29 million is a nation of tremendous natural resources and beauty, yet it remains one of the most poor countries in Asia.
The streets of Kathmandu can be brutal for children. Life is dangerous particularly for young girls where the sex slave industry is ever present.
Children and their families living in slum areas get no assistance from the government and are forced to beg on the streets. Their security is never certain in this environment. Beyond is working through Churches and among orphanages, slums to bring hope to Nepal.

There is a large Ethnic Tibetan population in Nepal. Some live in the border area with China (Tibet) and are Nepali, but many are refugees from Tibet as a result of the Chinese invasion of Tibet.
We are supporting an Ethnic Tibetan pastor and his wife who are taking care of a number of children, along with their own family.
They pastor an Ethnic Tibetan church in Kathmandu and have lived very sacrificially to care for these children… even to the point of taking their own children out of school to cover the cost of food and clothing
Ethnic Tibetan Orphanages
Our commitment each month is $550 NZ
Ethnic Tibetan High School Sponsorship
Our commitment each month is $150 NZ
Children from the high mountains do not have access to a high school education so consequently some travel to Kathmandu to continue their schooling.
This is a considerable financial hardship for them.
Phurpu and his wife support some of these children with money for food. Our goal is to help them with 15 children
Poor Widows and Orphans
One of our partners, Pastor Paul once lived on the streets himself after his family rejected him for becoming a Christian. He could not walk properly but after being healed, he turned to Jesus and never looked back!

Paul and his wife have for many years been visiting the slum areas in Kathmandu, feeding, clothing, cutting hair, dressing wounds and teaching them about Jesus. Their passion compels them to feed 'just one more'. And they need our help to reach many more with the Love of Jesus.

Currently they feed and teach over 300 slum Children. Can you help with the cost of these programs?
